The Challenge
As Crown College's student body became increasingly diverse, there was an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among cultural student organizations and create more intentional initiatives that fostered inclusion, belonging, and cross-cultural engagement. The challenge was to ensure that students from different backgrounds felt represented while creating opportunities for the campus community to learn from and celebrate one another.

My Role
As a representative of the International Students Club, I was elected to serve on the Kingdom Diversity Committee, a student leadership committee created to advance diversity and inclusion initiatives across campus.
Working alongside student leaders, faculty, and staff, I represented the perspectives of international students while contributing to conversations, planning initiatives, and supporting efforts that strengthened collaboration between cultural student organizations and the broader campus community

Our work focused on strengthening communication and collaboration between cultural student clubs, supporting diversity-focused events, and creating opportunities that celebrated the experiences and perspectives of students from different backgrounds.
By working across multiple organizations and departments, we helped build stronger relationships, encouraged greater student participation, and promoted an environment where every student felt welcomed, valued, and included.
